1. Can courses be refunded if for some reason my child does not wish to continue attending the course?
Yes, we guarantee a 100% refund if you inform us no later than 48 hours after the attendance of the first session you registered for.
Withdrawal within 48 hours after the 2nd training session – 80% of the paid amount refunded
Withdrawal within 48 hours after the 3rd training session – 70% of the paid amount refunded
Withdrawal within 48 hours after the 4th training session – 50% of the paid amount refunded
Withdrawal after 48 hours following the 4th training session – 0% of the paid amount refunded
When a participant enrolls in an ongoing course, the first training session after registration is completed counts as the first training session. The number of completed training sessions starts from the time of enrollment in the course, whether or not the participant attends or not.
2. Can I still enroll my child in a course if it has already started?
If the said course still has places available, a child can enroll at any time. If the maximum capacity has been reached, the child will be put on a waiting list or offered different options of days, times and locations where there is availability to attend. If this is still not possible, the child will be put on a waiting list.
3. Do I have to pay a full fee for a course that has already started?
No, you will not pay the full course fee, if the course has already started, but you will pay only the proportion of the remaining lessons. For current price lists, please refer to the relevant course description.
4. If my child is not of the age recommended for the group, can I still enroll him/her? Is it possible to send two siblings of different age groups within the same groups?
Unfortunately this is not possible. Children have different physical and psychological development stages at the different ages, so unless a child is a minimum of one month away from an age group, this will not be allowed.
For siblings, you may be able to combine the different age groups by identifying a location/day/time where both age groups have a course offered simultaneously.
5. Can I change the location, day or time of the course?
Yes, it is possible to change the location, day or time if the course you have chosen is not fully booked. In such a case, please contact us.
6. Do I qualify for a Tax Rebate
What we provide is sports related education, so parents can claim a tax rebate of up to 300euros per child per year for activities. We take care of everything for you. In the beginning of 2025, we will send your details to SportMalta to verify them and forward them to the Tax Department. The rebate is processed by the end of the year.
7. Can parents or guardians watch during the courses?
During the first session, parents can watch from a distance, but ideally after that, this is avoided as children get distracted easily. In certain locations and activities there are viewing galleries, and parents are requested to watch from appropriate areas if available. Parents can watch their children during the first session, after that it is no longer possible because it distracts the children. However, we plan to have closed groups for parents to see photos of their children enjoying and learning through their activities.
8. If my child has a medical of physical condition can they attend the course?
Yes, we aim to be as inclusive as possible, but ideally before registering, please contact us and based on your information we can assess whether to accept the child on the course. The course is a group activity and it will not be possible to have an individual coach with your child. Children in the course should be able to follow instructions and not be continuously disruptive to the course. Each case is discussed as needed, and trial sessions are possible. Please contact us directly.
9. What kind of clothes and shoes do the children need for the course?
Each child will have a t-shirt provided to them upon registration, which they can use throughout the course, but specific uniforms are not required. We do recommend that the child attends in comfortable clothing, with good sports footwear. A bottle of water is recommended. For swimming sections, a bathing suit and swim cap are compulsory. Goggles, flip flops, and towel are also recommended.
10. Are there courses during public holidays?
No, there are no lessons on public holidays and these are announced in advance on the calendar of sessions.
11. Can a missed lesson be replaced?
A child needs to remain in the set group from the beginning of the course. However, we do understand that there may be a lesson or two that may be missed due to illness or not being available. Non attendance to lessons needs to be informed 24 hours in advance, and a replacement lesson can be provided according to availability on a different time/day, to ensure the child receives the full course. Please reach out to us, so we can advice when a replacement session is available for your child.
