About Pocket Rockets

Pocket Rockets

was created after seeing many children in sports medicine clinics, brought in by concerned parents, referred by sports coaches, therapists, or teachers who noticed difficulties in their motor movement development.

Just as children learn to read and write, they also need to learn how to move. Unfortunately, in today’s technology-driven world—exacerbated by the effects of COVID—children are spending more time on screens and less time engaging in active play. As a result, many struggle with the fundamentals of physical literacy, leading to an increase in musculoskeletal issues and physical inactivity as they grow older.

But movement should be fun! Children love to play, explore, and challenge themselves. Play is essential in keeping them engaged and motivated, pushing their limits, and discovering their capabilities—this is human nature.

At POCKET ROCKETS, we embrace this philosophy by incorporating play, challenge, and progression at various levels and abilities. Through a range of game-based activities, we focus on developing fundamental movement skills such as:

Visual skills

Balance and coordination

Ball control

Jumping and dynamic movement

Running and speed development

Gymnastics

Cycling

Swimming (summer camps only)

We are committed to making this an enriching and enjoyable journey for your child

– one where they learn through play and eagerly return for more each time!
